After completing business school (BBA/Finance) at San Diego State University in 1995, Sonja's career started in shopping center development in Southern California and graduated quickly to include contract and lease negotiation and oversight. While employed with a large international development firm, Sonja expanded her management skill set over a number of years to include regional oversight and reporting, site acquisition, land entitlement, development and construction. She owned and managed Zaco Partners, LLC and Level Partners, LLC, a San Diego, CA and Austin, Texas, respectively, based boutique real estate and development firms. Her successes in vertical mixed-use development continue to flourish as successful developments in the Southern California markets today. Sonja is a skilled researcher and corporate finance tactician and has a knack for securing the right information or the appropriate financial strategy at just the right time.
Currently Ms. Zozula serves as Inventor & President of LightSaver Technologies, Inc. and serves a Chairman of the Board of Directors of the non-profit LightSaver Foundation™. Her current roles in the company include oversight of product development, corporate finance, managing all corporate website, advertising production and company media buys. Sonja also co-directs and oversees all company sales and marketing campaigns.
Ms. Zozula is the Inventor of the LightSaver™ L-100 device and Co-Inventor of the LightSaver™ L-1000 technology. She is the owner of the domestic and international LightSaver™ devices and systems patents and trademarks. She continues to hold her California and Texas Real Estate Broker's Licenses in good standing and is a member of the NFPA. |
